Weston Village Gardening Club

Welcome to our website

The Weston Village Gardening Club was created in 2008 to serve the residents of Weston Village and Newbridge, however, we have members living across the City of Bath and in the surrounding counties.

Our club meetings from September to May are held at the All Saints Church, Weston on the second Thursday of the month starting at 7:30pm. 

During the summer months we have a number of coach trips to flower shows and visits gardens both locally and nationally.

The Gardening Club is proud to organise the Weston Village Flower Show, which is a very popular comunity event and is held each year on the 1st Saturday in September.

The Gardening Club also organises the Weston Village Open Garden Event on the second Sunday in June.   We usually have around 12 gardens open to the public and provide teas and home-made cakes. 

Profits from the Open Garden Event and Flower Show are distributed among a number of local voluntary groups  

The Committee and Club members pride themselves in having a friendly and welcoming club where the emphasis is on both gardening and social gatherings as well.
